Nowadays wood houses are built with the use of different technologies. It is houses erection with the use of raw cylindrical log, frame and board construction. But nowadays the most progressive technology in the opinion of many specialists is house-building from glued wood.
Glued wall profiled balk – a building material of a new generation which appeared on the base of modern technologies and materials in wood working. And owing to the newest technology of gluing it is possible to use glued wood practically in all construction elements of a wood house: for wall balk, roof timbers, joist floors and so on.
Considering the main differentiating peculiarities of glued wood, first of all we should mark out:
- High quality of surface. It is conditioned by the fact that before gluing from wood, twigs and defects are cut out, half-finished products are selected according to the color and texture. Therefore the articles from glued wood have perfect appearance.
- Geometry stability. In contrast to whole timber the glued wood saves its form and dimensions with the course of time. It does not contract and become deformed. It is conditioned by lack of internal pressures in glued wood, taking away by technical drying which is done according to special manufacturing plans.
- Durability. Construction from glued wood has longer durability by 50-70% in contrast to the whole timber.
- High technological characteristics of a wood house. This factor considerably reduces costs for obtaining and exploitation of expensive individual heating equipment, fuel transportation. We will emphasize that costs for a house heating built from glued balk will be 2,5-3 times lee in contrast to a brick house.
The foundation of a house from glued balk is lighter than that of a brick house. Wall balks of a house from glued wood are tied by through metallic tension bars to give wholeness to the construction. The thickness of walls can vary from 100 to 220 mm.
In relation to roofing there are no limitations for a house from glued balk.
For many consumers the main factor is price. There is wrong belief that the construction of a house from glued wood is very expensive. However if to consider the whole technological process of a house erection it will become evident that its cost price is lower than construction of a house from cylindrical log or brick.
First of all, we will mark out the shortest terms of a house mounting. If all details are made in a plant conditions, the assembling of a house construction is done easily and quickly, at the same time the high exactness of joints is provided. Secondly, the use of a bulk allows to execute mounting of a house without use of lifting mechanisms that considerably reduces its cost.
Besides, slight shrinkage of a house from glued balk (only in the process of assembly works) allows to get down to the finishing works after erections works that reduces the term of a house construction till 5-6 weeks (without laying all engineering systems of a house).
And internal walls assembled from glued balk look monolithic and are not in need of additional finishing.

- Production of dry lumbers (sawing and drying workshops). Drying rooms of periodical action with the system of thermal-moisture processing;
- Production of glued items: window balk, board (workshop of gluing according to length and sectional view);
- Production of windows , doors (workshops of Europe windows , doors and ladders):
- Production of details for house-building (wall profiled glued elements, roof timbers systems, balks of bridging).
Thus, module-vector assembling of production allows to realize step-by-step high quality construction of houses.
